We are excited to kick off this part of our website with some very exciting news! With the help of our donors and supporters, we have been able to fund our first case!
Iindey, an 8 year old Collie mix and service dog, was diagnosed with a torn ligament in her knee and surgery was recommended to help her avoid years of arthritis and pain. Her owner was devastated by the diagnosis and sought our help to take care of this sweet girl! We awarded our inaugural grant, The Forrest Memorial Fund, to this wonderful dog and dedicated owner.
Surgery was done on Tuesday at a clinic in Greeley, CO and the procedure went great! Iindey is now home with her owner and we will keep you all posted on her recovery and rehabilitation.
Thank you so very much to everyone who has supported RRF over the past few months. You have made this happy ending possible.
Stay tuned right here for updates on Iindey and The Fund...
